Bryce is #29...and this is typically the image we get everytime we go to his game. The coach has decided that his 'second string' will only be played if the team is losing badly (say, by about 20 points)...also he would not admit there is a second string, but this mother did not fall off the turnip truck yesterday. And fyi....this is not a mother who argues with coaches...that, my friends, is the quickest way to ensure your child will receive no playing time....ever.
Just hanging around. Tennille loves to go the games, she finds her siblings' friends (no preference as to whom) and follows them everywhere.
Whoo Hoo!! Total Shut Out!! You know that means #29 will be allowed on the field!! He did great and actually got to stay in for 8 minutes....a personal best!! (We and the other 'bench warmer' parents gave the coach a standing ovation for his generosity.)
Afte- game-team-meeting. At this point, I am sure the coach was singing, "The sun will come out tomorrow, bet your bottom dollar... that tomorrow, there'll be sun...."I was thinking, mother lioness that I am, karma is a bummer. Your 'first string' super stars aren't all that super. :)
