As the time came for me to pick up the kids from my parents', my mom and Riley had the fun idea that we meet halfway and visit the St. Louis Zoo. This is a fabulous free zoo. You can pay $10.00 for parking but if you arrive early enough, say by 10:00, there are plenty of areas within walking distance to park for free. I take a backpack of snacks and everyone is happy. We normally go once or twice a year, it is a good way for us to break up a six hour trip in the car when we go to my parents'....although there is normally some deal making to get Dave to make the detour.
Anyway, we hit the jackpot this time because there were five baby tigers, born in late April, playing all over their space (not unlike my little nursery friends!)...they would hide in bushes and then pounce on a brother or sister, they were so much fun to watch!

P.S. We all made fun of my mother's hat...apparently she had sunburned the top of her head when my parents took the kids to Silver Dollar City...so she ignored our comments and saved her scalp from skin cancer....Obviously she has forgotten my family mantra that it does not matter how you feel, just how you look...

Holy Cow! What happened to Bryce it's like he grew up or something!
I know... poor Parker is only 18 months behind Bryce but you would never know it with the height difference.
Welcome to the blogging world!
Love the pics! Sorry about the tub. If it makes you feel any better, the house my mom's family rented in Idaho last week only had "luke cold" well water to shower (or bathe) in. Eww!
