Riley and Emma Winkler took the assignment to do a Beehive Halloween Party for their younger siblings. They wanted to show the children what a Young Women activity might look like and help them anticipate joining mutual when they turn 12. Thanks to Michele for bringing a tub of extra costumes for the kids who forgot! Above, my little Charlie Brown loves the bean bag game my dad made many years ago for one of Parker's toddler birthday parties.
I quickly drew a witch and there were round colored stickers...so the kids could be blindfolded and "Pin the Wart on the Witch".
The Beehives taught the children to make witch's hands with gloves filled with candy corn and popcorn... and topped with a spider ring.
Adrienne was a good blindfolder!

In another corner, we had a story time...and played "Bones in the Bottle" (dropped clothespins into a glass jar on the floor from a specified height)

Dana was all about the popcorn in the Lord&Taylor bag...
It was a fun night...I think the leaders, girls and siblings all had a howling good time. And here's to hoping Miss Riley is not in charge of another activity for awhile :)

Wow! This looks like they all had a blast!! The only reason Riley has done two activities in a row, is because she WANTS to!!! :) She volunteers!!! So you might want to talk to her about her volunteering opportunities! We love her!! :) Thanks for your help too!
